Hermeneia 2026: What A Day!!!
What a day indeed!
It was a real joy to spend it in the company of such an engaged, thoughtful, and generous group of people. What has stayed with me most is not only the quality of the talks themselves, but the atmosphere in the room: curious, warm, attentive, and genuinely open. None of that can ever be taken for granted, and it made the whole event feel quietly special from beginning to end.
Thank you as well to everyone who came over to speak to me afterwards, asked questions, shared reflections, or simply said hello. Those conversations meant a great deal, and they were very much part of what made the day so memorable.
We also managed to livestream the closing panel on Angela’s channel, so those of you at home can at least catch a glimpse of what was, in every respect, an incredible day of sharing and learning. The audio is, admittedly, very sub-optimal, but this was a genuinely last-minute decision. We had not prepared for it, we had no soundcheck, and we simply ran with Angela’s camera and microphones because we wanted to offer people at home some small way of being part of the day as well.
A curated transcript of the livestream will be made available as soon as possible for selected patron tiers, and it will also be available from Angela’s Patreon shop. Because of the sound quality, we will also upload a closed captions file as soon as possible.
